Dental Crown &
Veneer Specialists

Tooth decay, cracked fillings, teeth grinding, root canals, and aging can all change the way your teeth look over time. In order to protect a cracked, broken tooth or cover up discolorations, a dental crown is a restoration procedure that can securely fill gaps and restore your smile if you have missing or damaged teeth.

1st Choice Dental provides three different types of dental crown procedures:
  1. Veneers
Veneers are a great option if you are looking to correct some of the most common problems with your smile, including stains, discoloration, chipped or broken teeth, gaps, and misalignments. Made of a thin piece of porcelain, veneers are tooth-colored shells that are bonded or cemented to the front of your teeth. Not only do they look like natural teeth, they also provide strength comparable to natural tooth enamel. Veneer restorations are aesthetic and require very little, if any, removal of tooth structure.
  2. Dental Crown
If your tooth still has healthy roots but has broken off due to natural aging, a weak filling, an accident, or any other reason, a dental crown may be the right option for you. A dental crown is a custom-made tooth cap constructed of ceramic (porcelain), porcelain-fused-to-metal, or gold. A dental crown fits over a broken tooth to restore its natural appearance, shape, size, resilience, and function, while also protecting the tooth from further damage. A dental crown may also be needed after some dental procedures, such as root canals.
  3. Dental Bridges
If you have a gap due to missing teeth, a dental bridge may be a great solution for you. Gaps between teeth can create imbalance in your mouth resulting in shifting teeth, overbites, loss of other teeth, gum disease and even temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. A dental bridges is a dental crown that is used to aesthetically replace the missing teeth. If dental implants are not an option due to available bone, cost, or other reason, a dental bridge is the next best thing and will make everyday activities such as eating and talking easier.
